legal Assistant/Paralegal

Pay From: $45,000 per year

MUST:

Experienced Pre-Litigation Paralegal

2+ years of experience working as Legal Assistant or Paralegal

2 years of Personal Injury law experience

Spanish Speaking Required

Law and Legal Document Preparation skills

Strong Communication skills

Research and Document Review abilities

Attention to detail and organizational skills

Knowledge of insurance claims process is a plus

Paralegal certificate or relevant degree is a plus
DUTIES:

New Client Intakes

Requesting Medical Records/Bills/Liens

Filing Health Insurance with Medical Providers

Confirming Payments and Adjustments with Medical Providers

Following up on Bill Reductions

Following up with Insurance Companies

Following up with Clients Regarding Medical Treatment

Compiling Demand Packages

Assisting with PIP Claims

Opening New Files
