Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented legal Administrative Assistant/Receptionist for a long-term contract. This role provides essential administrative support to our legal team, manages client interactions, and ensures the smooth operation of the office. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, legal administrative capabilities, and familiarity with various areas of law. This contract offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment supporting attorneys across multiple practice areas.

Duties

  • Greet clients and visitors professionally at the front desk, providing excellent phone etiquette and customer service
  • Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings with attorneys and clients
  • Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Maintain and organize legal files using document management systems.
  • Assist with document review, data entry, and filing to ensure accurate record keeping
  • Support attorneys with legal drafting, transcription, and proofreading tasks
  • Manage case files related to diverse practice areas.
  • Prepare daily time entries for assigned attorneys and submit in a timely manner.
  • Prepare expense reimbursement and disbursement requests and processes them in Chrome.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as calendar management, billing support, and general clerical duties to facilitate efficient office operations.
  • Assists with setting up conference rooms.
  • Coordinate with external agencies or clients for interviews or document collection as needed.
