position Summary
The UCLA School of law Veterans legal Clinic seeks a dedicated Paralegal to support its mission of addressing the unmet legal needs of veterans, particularly those residing at or receiving services from the West LA VA Medical Center. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful legal work while engaging with a vulnerable population. The Paralegal will provide critical support in legal casework, client engagement, and community outreach. Responsibilities include conducting detailed records reviews, preparing legal forms and pleadings, drafting client declarations and demand letters, and performing legal research under the supervision of a licensed attorney. The Paralegal will also organize outreach events in coordination with VA stakeholders. Legal services provided by the clinic include veterans’ disability benefits, traffic and quality-of-life citations, criminal record clearing, and landlord-tenant disputes.
Salary & Compensation

Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
