Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assist with the review and revision of legal agreements related to research at Mass General Brigham-affiliated institutions. Such agreements may include material transfer agreements, data use agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
-Help maintain and distribute agreements to all parties and appropriate institutional groups.
-Maintain and update files and databases.
-Perform discrete special projects and other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in law school

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Interest in IP law, health law, contract drafting and negotiating strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized, with ability to maintain attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in managing multiple concurrent tasks and relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive, energetic team member with a results-oriented, professional outlook.
  • Ability to work remotely.

Working Conditions

  • Work in a remote setting
  • This internship will be 40 hours/week with a target start date of May 11th
