Corporate Counsel 4

As a Corporate Counsel at Lam Research in the Corporate and General legal – U.S. team, you will play a key role in supporting Lam’s commercial and collaborative activities, including the sale of Lam products and services and development of technology. You will provide timely and effective legal advice to critical business function, help the company navigate complex legal landscapes effectively, mitigate risks, and support strategic business initiatives.

• J.D. or equivalent from a top law school Bar membership; Oregon or California bar membership preferred 4+ years of experience, including experience providing legal support for a multinational company Strongcontracts, process experience, antitrust, and ethics and compliance knowledge Demonstrated expert knowledge and command of commercial law, with a minimum of four years practice in a US state preferably in either a law firm or in a responsible in-house position Demonstrated experience and strength drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts with a strong working knowledge of common contractual issues associated with commercial sales and collaboration agreements Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving capabilities; ability to manage multiple simultaneous demands from multiple stakeholders under time pressure, and to re-order priorities on short notice Have excellent English oral and written communication skills, and the ability to discuss and explain complex technical and legal matters with legal and non-legal business partners/stakeholders Successfully work and manage in a highly matrixed environment Work independently with limited supervision Ability to work in a digitized environment (such as contract authoring tools, contract lifecycle management system, and etc. ) Be creative, innovative, accessible and approachable Work hard and be nice while exercising influence and authority when appropriate; must play well with others. A good sense of humor will certainly help.

• Background or experience in the semiconductor equipment and/or semiconductor industry

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
