- DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will draft, prepare, organize, and distribute meeting packets, reports, bulletins, newsletters, minutes, and correspondence on behalf of the Board, the PCCD, and agency partners. You will coordinate meetings and work closely with PCCD’s Fiscal Administration Office on contracts and billing matters. Responsibilities include assisting with the review of training curricula and related materials for PCCD’s Constables’ Training Program, as well as organizing, distributing, and maintaining training resources and archives. In addition, you will monitor and assess the performance of training contractors and their staff through interviews, evaluation tools, and direct observation. You will maintain both paper and electronic training record systems, perform data entry, routinely review the design and organization of training records and reports, and develop recommendations to enhance recordkeeping systems.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, reporting to the office 1 day per month and as needed. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Successful completion of the commonwealth’s Criminal Justice System Specialist Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of professional experience in criminal or juvenile justice, law enforcement, or victim services, and a bachelor’s degree in the social or behavioral sciences, criminal justice, law enforcement, or a related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
