We are seeking an experienced Estates & Trusts Paralegal to join our collaborative and team-oriented practice focused exclusively on estate planning, probate, and trust administration. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to support two attorneys while working closely with a small administrative team, providing critical support on complex estate and trust matters and ensuring seamless client service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in all phases of estate and trust administration, including tax preparation and client coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of probate and estate administration cases from initial client intake through case closing, including deadlines, filings, and correspondence.
  • Prepare, review, and manage estate, gift, and fiduciary tax returns, coordinating with accountants and financial institutions as necessary.
  • Draft, organize, and maintain estate planning and administration documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related legal instruments.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, answering questions, providing status updates, and facilitating smooth communication with attorneys, accountants, and banks.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records for all client matters, including estate files, financial documents, and supporting correspondence.
  • Utilize tax and estate administration software to prepare filings, track deadlines, and generate reports.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys, administrative staff, and junior support personnel to ensure efficient workflow, accuracy, and timely completion of all tasks.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and professional standards when handling sensitive client information.
  • Assist attorneys with ad hoc projects, including research, document review, and case preparation.

Shift: Monday – Friday 9a-5p (in office)
