Primary Purpose
Ensures efficient case management by handling complex document workflows, performing targeted research, and coordinating multi-party meetings, contributing to accurate and timely legal processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Archives and updates legal records in the document management system, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping standards.
- Tracks filing deadlines for legal documents, ensuring they are submitted in a timely manner to meet regulatory and court requirements.
- Communicates with stakeholders for the follow-up of documentation and administration matters on both new and existing cases.
- Arranges and coordinates legal meetings, schedules appointments, and organizes travel arrangements for attorneys and legal staff.
- Consolidates internal comments for communication with counterparties to finalize legal documents.
- Performs general office duties, including scanning, photocopying, and filing.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically requires 3 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Company Secretarial Administration – Managing the administrative and statutory compliance responsibilities for an organization.
- Legal Drafting – Prepares written legal documents, including a motion, a letter, a brief, a memo, or a contract.
- Legal Support – Assistance provided in navigating legal processes, including research, documentation, and advice, to uphold rights and comply with the law.
- Data Management – A process which includes acquiring, validating, storing, protecting, and processing required data.
- Contract Administration – The process of managing and overseeing the execution, performance, and compliance of contracts between parties involved in a business agreement, including customers and vendors.
- Event and Meeting Planning – Planning meetings or events on behalf of someone or a group. Includes making arrangements for catering and/or logistical support.
- Regulatory Compliance – Ensuring an organization’s adherence to laws, regulations, guidelines and specifications relevant to its business processes.
- Legal Research – The process of identifying and retrieving information necessary to support legal decision-making.
- Documentation & Records Management – Creating, distributing, using, maintaining and disposition of recorded information maintained as evidence of business activities and transactions.
- Schedule Management – Establishes policies and documentation for maintaining, developing, managing, and controlling the schedules for time and resources for the completion of the project.
