position SUMMARY:

The legal Department at Milliman, Global Corporate Services (GCS) is hiring a Legal Operations Assistant to support the team. Reporting to the Legal Operations Manager, this position involves triaging shared inboxes and assisting with client screening through the ELM system for regulatory compliance and risk management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support triaging requests from multiple shared email inboxes.
  • Complete client screenings per a documented policy and process.
  • Additional administrative tasks, as needed.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • The ideal candidate must have minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • The ideal candidate must have hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • The ideal candidate must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • The ideal candidate must have strong focus on customer service and high degree of integrity.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication etiquette, with the ability to distill large amounts of research into brief statements.
  • Must be diligent, with a great work ethic, and a team-player attitude.
  • Must have the ability to maintain high productivity and focus while working independently in a remote environment.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

  • Demonstrated interest in legal and/or risk management technology and processes.

LOCATION:

This is a remote role. This job posting is expected to close on February 28<sup>th</sup>, 2026

COMPENSATION:

The overall salary range for this role is $49,900 – $88,895. For candidates residing in:

  • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Newark, San Jose, San Francisco, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $57,385 – $88,895.
  • All other locations the salary range is $49,900 – $77,300.

A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.

This is a fulltime, non-exempt overtime eligible role; overtime eligible after 40 hours of work.
