Position Overview
Riverside Research is seeking a part-time Contracts Specialist for our Fairfax, Virginia Office. He/She will be responsible for cradle-to-grave experience with Federal Contracts, Grants, Commercial Products, Subcontracts and Procurement related activities. The ideal candidate should have proposal cost volume and day-to-day experience in the full range of contracts and require independent judgment and identification, analysis and resolution of significant issues. He/She should have knowledge of the ever changing and developing Government Contracting environment.
Responsibilities
Contract/Procurement Management
- An Understanding of FAR, DFARs and CMMC requirements
- Experience with Commercial Products and Reseller agreements, to include FAR Part 12
- Proven skills in risk identification and mitigation
- Strong understanding of DCMA compliance requirements
- Ability to work with Business/Program Manager Partners
Skills/Experience
- Strong Integrity, Ethics
- Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions
- Strong interpersonal/communication/written skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or experience in lieu of degree, MBA a plus
- 8 years of progressive experience in contracts administration
- No clearance required but prefer TS/SCI Clearance
- Knowledge of and experience with FAR, DFARS, other agency supplements, Commercial Products and applicable U.S. laws and regulations
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office Products
- Experience in Deltek/Costpoint for Contracts, Procurement and reporting
