| Essential Job Duties |
The primary purpose of the Temporary Paralegal is to provide legal support and coordination in a variety of areas. Responsibilities include coordinating litigation efforts with outside counsel; assisting with mass document production through analysis, cataloging, and redaction of documents, correspondence, and exhibits; and supporting in-house counsel in compiling materials and responding to administrative complaints filed with agencies such as the EEOC, OCR, OAH–CRD, and DOL. The position will also coordinate responses to FOIA requests and assist with the tort claims process, including communication with Department of Justice investigators and claimants. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support the overall work of the office.
