Staffmark is hiring a legal Receptionist who excels at creating outstanding first impressions! This role is perfect for someone who’s friendly, professional, and highly organized – a true people person who can confidently guide potential clients from initial inquiry to paid consultation.
Pay: $17-$19/hour
You’ll be the voice and face of the firm, ensuring every client interaction reflects professionalism, compassion, and trust.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and emails with professionalism, warmth, and empathy
- Conduct detailed client intakes to identify case type and client needs
- Explain the firm’s consultation process, attorney expertise, and value proposition
- Convert inquiries into prepaid consultations using proven engagement techniques
- Manage the attorney’s consultation calendar for seamless scheduling
- Collect payments and provide confirmations or receipts
- Maintain accurate records in the firm’s CRM and case management system
- Greet walk-in clients courteously and professionally
- Assist with administrative duties such as mail handling, scanning, and documentation
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a law firm, call center, or sales-based reception role preferred
- Exceptional verbal communication and listening skills
- Empathetic, persuasive, and confident phone presence
- Comfortable discussing fees and processing payments
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Experience with legal practice management or CRM software is a plus
